English Learning Podcast – Grammar Girl

I am sure there are times when you need to break away from writing. What do you do when you are not writing?

I listen to podcast. Podcast is a great way to learn new things and in my case, I learn about grammar. I am sure most of you have heard about Grammar Girl – Quick and Dirty Tips. In case you haven’t, Grammar Giri (Mignon Fogarty) talks about grammar as part of the podcast projects by Quick and Dirty Tips. She blogs at Behind The Grammar. You can find the podcast episodes on iTunes or on QDT.

The best part about this english learning podcast is you can brush up on your grammar the easy and entertaining way.

My personal favourite episodes:

1. “Flammable” Versus “Inflammable”

2. What to Call People With Disabilities.

3. Spoonerisms, Mondegreens, Eggcorns, and Malapropisms

4. Special video edition : Irony

If you want to learn more about grammar, you can buy her books, Grammar Girl’s Quick and Dirty Tips.

You can get it as paperback or audio book.

Learn about grammar and improve your writing. If you have questions, you can even contact Grammar Girl at QDT blog. Talking about QDT, there are many other podcast topics available such as Money Girl and Nutrition Diva. Check it out and subscribe if you enjoy it.
